After six straight whuppings, the Seahawks put up a fight that was more than just respectable against San Francisco.
Geno Smith is going to get the bulk of the attention for Sunday’s victory over the 49ers.
This is to be expected. Not only is he the quarterback, but he scored the game-winning touchdown and then placed his hands next to his head as he looked at the Bay Area crowd, bidding the 49er fans “Night, night” a la Steph Curry.
But while Smith’s 13-yard run with 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter decided the game, it’s not why the Seahawks won.
